Julia is Managing Partner at Quotient Capital Advisors where she focuses on helping emerging and diverse asset managers and hedge fund managers launch, build, and grow their investment firms with institutional investors. Julia has over 25 years of experience building strong relationships with institutional investors and consultants and managing successful business development and investor relations teams. She is a thought-leader and coach for investment management and fintech firms. Previously, Julia was founder of Quotient Investors, an asset management firm seeded by the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS).

Julia has also worked for several other asset management firms and started her career at Barra, a fintech firm focused on risk analytics. Julia has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics & economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Julia, her husband, and daughter reside in Plainfield, NJ. Julia is passionate about helping women and diverse owned asset managers gain equal footing in the investment world. She was part of Rock the Street Wall Street, an organization that teaches financial literacy and promotes high school girls to consider careers in finance. Julia is excited to continue to help young people and the local community through the Youth Foundation of Jersey City.
